The test is designed to provide feedback on a stu- dent's literacy skills as well as the reading and writing skills of all Grade 10 stu- dents at the Durham District School Board and across the province. The test will take a total of five hours split over the dents two days of Oct. 10 and 11. The Durham District School Board has provided board-developed assess- ment materials so stu- may familiarize themselves with the types of questions they could expect on the test. It also has in-serviced teachers on the administration of the test. Practice materials from the Education Quality and Assessment Office (EQAO) have been distrib- uted to students and also are available on the EQAO web site at www.eqao.com.
