Show opens June 8 Arsenic And Old Lace coming to stage If you think your relatives are bad, come out and empathize with Mortimer Brewster and his eccentric kin. Seventh-Star Productions is staging Arsenic and Old Lace on June 8 to 10 in the Uxbridge Music Hall. Mortimer, played by Michael Wood of Fawlty Towers fame, must handle his two elderly aunts --- played by Uxbridge Players' veteran Susan Hegarty and Kathy Bridgeman (recently seen in Bye, Bye Birdie) and their hobby of collecting dead bodies -- and the sinister.antics of his brother, played by well-known Uxbridge personal- ity Roger Varley and his sidekick, the menacing Dr. Einstein (Bryan Mailey). If that weren't enough, Mortimer must handle the aunts' nephew, played by Dave Bush, who lives in the house with the aunts but in a world "all his own". Mortimer must juggle all of his relatives' quaint actions while attempting to calm his fiancee (Cathy Christoff -- Fawlty Towers) and prevent the local police from coming over and having coffee and biscuits with the family. With 12 bodies in the cellar, a thirteenth on the way and possibly a murderer in the house, the audience is sure to be kept on their toes for the entire show. Arsenic and Old Lace plays at the Uxbridge Music Hall on June 8-10 at 8 p.m. Tickets are reserved seating, and are selling quickly. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday May 17 at Blue Heron Books.
