It will be held at Brooklin United Church from 9:15 to 11:30- a.m. There will be makeovers and lots of prizes to be won while local women entrepreneurs pro- mote their businesses and products. Everyone is encouraged to attend and bring along a friend or rela- tive to share in the fun. Impacting Twenty-five members of the Impact Wrestling squad made their way to the Provincial Championships in Renfrew, and came home with their heads held high. In the team competition, the 60 member local Renfrew team couldn't be denied, winning the gold medal, however the 25 member Impact squad came a very close second in a field of 28 teams. Local Brooklin lads who fared exceptionally well were Andrew Hodson (gold) and Kevin Madsen (silver) in the Bantam division; Justin Howe (silver), Cameron Gibson (silver), Nathan Staneland (silver) and Breandon Barnett (fourth) in the Kid division; and Brock Hicks (silver) in the Novice division. Next step on the competi- tive ladder is the Eastern Canadian Championships on April 28 to 30 in Milton. Fashion Extraordinaire St. Leo's Church will be holding a fashion extrava- ganza on Wednesday, May 10 starting at 7 p.m. It will be held in the gymnasium of St. Leo's School on Watford Street and the charge is $6 per person which includes the show, live entertainment provid- ed by Ruth Chilco and Esther Bursey, prizes and refreshments. Students, teachers and parents from St. Leo's will be modeling fashions from Brooklin Village Shop, La Senza Girl, International Kids, The Garage Clothing Company, Northern Getaway Kids, Lafontaine Trading Post, Winners, Clothing by Avon and Around the World Bridal Fashions while everyone is gussied up by Harlequin Hair Leaders. Everyone present will have a chance to win one night's accommodation at Lanfall Farm Bed and Breakfast and dinner at Jesters Court Pub and Eatery. This show is a massive fundraiser for St. Leo's new church build- ing fund. Due to rapid growth in Brooklin, mem- bers have been forced out of their little church on Hwy. 12, electing to hold services in the school gym to fit everyone in.
