On Ash Wednesday, March 8, a service will be held in Epsom Church start- ing at 7:30 p.m. The next community din- ner to be held in Epsom Church will be on Thursday, March 9 at noon. Congratulations to the Epsom School choirs under the direction of Sandy James Mitchell and Kathy Bazarin. The Grade 3-4 group placed first, the Grade 5-6 choir and the junior girls each placed first, the Grades 1-2 placed third and the junior folk choir placed second. Way to go, your hard work was rewarded. Utica Daycare held their winter skating and pizza party last Thursday at 'Scugog Arena. There was probably only one grand- mother there who was reminded again of the determination of these lit- tle people to succeed. Several from the com- munity attended the Holstein Club banquet at the Trillium Restaurant in Beaverton on Saturday evening. Production awards were announced. Rob Ashton was presented with the Youth Award which is a trip to the Madison Show in the fall. Also watch for the date of the County Twilight Meeting which will be held in our community at Keith, Faye and Rob Ashtons this summer.
