More than 250 people driving 50 trucks and farm vehicles were estimated to be on hand at the Harry Vale Inc. property near Saintfield Tuesday afternoon, in an effort to make the public aware of the problems the two indus- tries face. "We want the public to realize that on the trucking and farming side that ends don't meet," said Harry Vale, the owner of a farming and trucking business who organized the rally only the day before. "We're not trying to put the blame on any- thing specific, but let's face it... the farmers aren't getting anything for their products, and the truckers are getting bad rates," said Mr. Vale.
