Community groups in spotlight at upcoming Chamber breakfast The Scugog Chamber of Commerce is inviting all community groups and organizations to attend its first Breakfast Meeting of the year 2000 on Thursday, Feb. 24. Each group will have an opportunity to present an overview of their organization, its objectives and its initia- tives for the coming year. "It's an attempt to develop more communica- tion and cooperation amongst local organiza- tions," stated Les Gower, this year's chamber presi- dent. "The idea has evolved from various con- versations with members of community groups over the past year. There's a consensus that it would be beneficial to get together tation from any community organizations which wish to participate.
