Lee Chapelle, 32, was paroled from Beaver Creek in October of 1999 after serv- ing time for a number of offences including possession of a restricted weapon. He was to have moved to the Belleville area. He never reported there and a war- rant for violation of his parole was issued. He is how thought to be in the Durham or Peterborough area and is also wanted on a warrant for a break and enter in Durham Region. The wanted man's full name is old Lee Steven Chapelle. He is described as male white, 6' 3" (191 cm.) tall, 220 Ib. (99 kg.) in weight, hazel coloured eyes, with short brown hair or a shaved head, possibly wearing a goatee. He has a number of tattoos described as a black panther head on his upper right arm and guns, roses, and a skull on his left arm. He also has a scar on his upper lip. He should be considered armed and dangerous and should Lee Chapelle not be approached. Anyone with information about this individual is asked to call the Durham Regional Police Service at (905) 597-1520, or Crime Stoppers at (905) 436-TIPS. Snowboards stolen during house party Thieves made off with two snow- boards worth almost $1,000 while attending a house party in Uxbridge recently. Durham Police were called to a Brock St. West residence around 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 23 after it was noticed that two snow- boards were missing.
