The square, complete with clock tower, was the brainchild of the DBBA, and president David Stewart says the association is more than pleased all its recommenda- tions have been given the green light. Stewart is especially. pleased that the town is picking up the complete $72,000 tab. According to Stewart, monies collect- ed from planned fundraising by the DBBA will let them add many "bells and whis- tles" not covered in the original specs. Those particular bells and whistles have yet to be decided, but Stewart promises it will make the square even more acces- sible and enjoyable to Brooklin residents. Vital Sparks. Remember when Cat was a feline, a kit- ten grows up; and Tea was a liquid you drank from a cup; and Swinger was some- one who swung from a swing; and Pad was a sort of a cushiony thing; when Dig meant to shovel and spade in the dirt; and Tough described meat too unyielding to chew; and Making a Scene was a rude thing to do? Words once so sensible, sober and serious are making the Freak scene like Plychodelirious. It's Groovy man, Groovy, but English it's not; Me thinks the language has gone straight to Pot.
