The parent alleges that in the let- ters the girls recant their earlier statements to police about who may have been involved in the incident. Five young offenders were arrested and charged with various assault-related offenses, and have since been denied vaecess to the school and its grounds under conditions of their release by the courts. One 15-year-old student had to be removed from school on doctor's orders, after he alleged he was threatened with death in relation to the incident. Police have since charged a 31-year-old man in connection with the threats . The boy has now missed over half of his school year.
