We have had good guest speakers to our dinner meetings twice a month. Police report that sometime overnight between Sept. 22-23 thieves stole a Mach One BMX-style bike from a Hurd St. address. The bike, valued at $230, has a chrome frame, trick steering and rear pegs. A couple of nights later, sometime overnight between Sept. 24 and 25, police say that thieves took three bikes from a King St. home. Missing is a 21" 10- speed mountain bike with maple leaf decals worth $150; a 19" purple five-speed "Rock Rat" mountain bike valued at $200; and a lime green 127 bike with training wheels worth $100.
