It is a co-operative venture between community volunteers, Durham Regional Police, O.P.P., corporate sup- ports and the town- ship. Road Watch is patterned after Caledon's very suc- cessful program which was introduced follow- ing a number of very serious incidents in that municipality. It is the ambition of the committee to make Scugog's roads safer for all. At a ceremony in Palmer Park at 11 a.m. committee members along with local digni- taries and Marilyn Morrison, the driving force behind the Caledon project, will introduce Scugog's program.
