Remembering This month of March holds two great names to remember in our community. The first being Mabel Cawker who passed away March 6, 1997. Mabel held many positions with the United Church Women's Group, was a member of the Eastern Star, a great worker for many years with the Cancer Society. Also wrote a weekly article for at least three papers for a number of The U.C.W.'s in a recycling mood speaker next week years. The second was just known as Reg Renouf one of our outstanding business men of Caesarea's history. He was a pio- neer in a new type of manufacturing, and later owned the dance hall. He was always there with his cheque book when we need- ed help for community improvements. Always had that quaint sense of humor. Two great names in life's passing parade. Joke of the Week One evening a man came home from work and his wife greeted him. "I've got good news and bad news," she said. He swallowed hard and said he'd prefer the good news first. "The air bag works," she said. Saying of the Week Give a book as a present - you can always borrow it back.
