The service was led by Donna Sweet- man and Eleanor Stur- man talked to the children about how we celebrate birthdays and anniversar- ies and today the U.C.W.'s 35th anniversary. Jessie Nobbs and Mar- garet Ingram sang a beau- tiful duet "Softly and Ten- derly" accompanied by the organist Muriel Jebson. Audrey Horner and Karel Nottingham read the scriptures one of them Psalm 95, vs 1 to 7 was read at the forming of the U.C.W. in 1962 and again on the 25th anniversary in 1987. Eleanor Nicholls and Karel Nottingham and Mildred Puckrin read the prayers of the people.
