Members of the well-known Port Perry High School vocal group Jazzmerize were paying councillors back the best way they know how -- in song. Council agreed to a request by the group for a grant of about $400, which will cover the rental of the Scugog Centre Feb. 21 when Jazzmerize holds an auc- tion to help raise funds to attend the Rocky Mountain Festival later this year in BanfY, Alta.
