T-BALL Snap on Tool Giants 21 H & M Wright Sox 9 An excellent eight put out inning by Corey Vanderwill which included a triple play led the Giants to their 10th win. The offense got another strong game from Thomas Prendergast, Jessie Nelson and Erik Draper all who hit round trippers and scored twice. Hitting a home run for the Sox was Tyler Gaylord with Aaron Wright chipping in with a double. In the field Charlyn Stinson played a strong game. Snap On Giants 23 Spring Grove 15 The Giants won their 10th in a row behind the grand slam home run hit by Dakota Newell. Also hitting a home run was Jessie Nelson while Amber Archibald and Meagan: Ferguson had two hits each as well as an RBI. Meagan Moore led Spring Grove with a three bagger while Laken Kearnan and Zach Grove went three for three at the plate. Spanky's Haulage 19H & M Wright Sox 16 A fine game saving catch by Chad Gerrits plus a home run by the feisty guy lifted Spanky's to their fourth win in a row as they gear up for the upcoming tournament. Melissa Hudson and Robert Gatchell hit doubles while Ryan Dillion made some fine defensive plays during his stint on the mound. Some great defensive plays by Rachel Beechey highlighted the play of the Sox as they battled Spanky's in a close three run game. Ashley Call and Scott Banks had big games each scoring three with Banks hitting a triple and Call getting three hits. Also with three hits were hel Beechey, Michael Shaw, Natasha Edgerton, Natalie Waters and Charlyn Stinson. Spring Grove 19H & Mt Sox 16 The Vaders had only the minimum number of players show up and still managed to beat the struggling Sox who lost their fourth game in a Willowtree loses close one Willowtree Farms met Port Hope in Under 11 rep soccer action July 23.
