A total of 255 permits, valued at $9,190,305 were issued in 1995, down from 275, valued at $15,878,696, the year pre- vious. While the number of permits issued for single family dwellings, indus- trial and commercial starts were down this year, permits for altera- last year, down from 90 in 1994; 18 industrial build- Ing permits were issued, down from 22. There were no permits issued for com- merical starts this year, compared with one in 1994.
