The Port Perry Villa and Community Nursing Home will be holding a "Spring in England" Ba- zaar on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a Musicale at Scugog Island United Church on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. sponsored by the Worship and Music Committee of the Pastoral Charge. The Scugog Strings have been busy practicing and they enjoyed playing at the Senior Citizen's Pot Luck Luncheon last Wednesday at the Latch- am Centre. The Lectionary Bible Study will meet on Tues- day,May 2at 1:30 p.m. The High School Sup- per Club will meet on Tuesday, May 2 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Men's Chorus will practice on Tuesday, May 2 at 8 p.m. They will be singing on Mother's Day. The Grace U.C.W. will meet on Wednesday, May 3 at 8 p.m. at the home of Camille Crozier. The Head U.C.W. will meet on Wednesday, May 3 at 8 p.m. at the home of Pat McGhee. Their beef supper will be held on Thursday, May 11 with sittings at 5:15 and 6:30 p.m. For tickets call Frei- da at 985-2788. Choir practice will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 7 p.m. Junior Choir practice will be held on Friday, May 5 at 4:30 p.m. Watch for them at the Musicale! The Stewards have or- ganized a Spring Clean Up at the church and eve- ryone is welcome to come and lend a hand on Satur- day, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 3p.m. The Sunday School will be busy at the church on Saturday, May 6 as well as they prepare the Candy Booth they are sponsoring at the Musicale at 7:30 p.m. The children will be able to help decorate the booth, make treats, bag candy and enjoy lunch to- gether from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations of home- made fudge or treats would be appreciated. Of course the Musicale we have been all waiting for will take place as well on Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Scugog Island United Church. This event is sponsored by the Pastoral Charge's Wor- ship and Music Commit- tee and will be a fun eve- ning of local entertainment and fellow- ship and of course a hymn sing! Hope you can come!
