Born and raised in Scugog Township, Mrs. Lambert moved to Toronto In the 1930's where she held a number of jobs, including working as a sewing machine operator at Tip Top Tallors, and acting as a government inspector at the Ajax munitions plant during the Second World War. She moved back to Port Perry three years ago and now lives In her Crandall St. home. She survives sisters Ethel (Mrs. Grant) Willard and Georgina McLaughlin.
