Supporters of the expansion of Community Memorial Hospital, who included area residents, members of the business commun- ity, doctors and hospital staff, filed into the hall dressed in a assort- ment of elaborate costymes. The evening, which was also used to celebrate the 25th Ann- iversary of the hospital on Paxton St., attracted dozens of famous personalities including... Batman and Batwoman, Caesar, Super- man and the Phantom of the Opera. Male and female Costume win- ners were announced by MC Lance Brown with awards going to Elaine Weekes and Paul Van Camp.
