John Bannerman was the guest minister with Lori Gemmell, harpist, provid- ing the special music. A lunch- eon was served in the lower hall following the service. The turkey supper served at the church on Friday night was enjoyed by all who attended, and proved to be a great suc- cess. We need to commend the committee on their fine effort for all the planning and organiz- ing which has been made over the last few weeks. The Ladies Bible Class met at the home of Grace Hopkins on Wednesday night. Due to theill- ness of the president, Florence Ashton chaired the meeting. The opening hymn was "Come Ye Thankful People Come." Psalm 96 was read. The medita- tion was titled "Two Golden Days." Florence led in prayer. A poem "In Small and Simple Things" was read. The one that comes up most often is whether or not it's necessary to pay in advance. While it's not required, it is a good idea. By prefinancing, you are assured of today's prices. You can pay for all or a portion of the funeral. Preplanning is a thought- Jul way to show you care. Prefinancing is a way to relieve loved ones of a future financial burden."
