Police said the home on Fallis Rd. was entered some- time between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. through a garage window. Among the items stolen were a CD player and CDs, a VCR, answering machine, liquor and jewelry, police said. They've listed the incident as theft over $1,000. More cars hit There was more vandalism to vehicles in the area last week. Police said that sometime during the evening Sept. 6 a Pontiac Firebird parked at the Scugog arena had two tires vw. sustaining an esti- mated $300 damage. The incident follows a cou- ple of tires slashings -- includ- ing all four tires on a Scugog Township vehicle parked at the Perry St. offices -- the previous week. And sometime overnight Saturday a car in the Fralick's Beach area was scratched with a key, police said. Car recovered A car that was stolen last week in Scugog has been recov- ered in Toronto. Metro Police recovered a 1984 Pontiac that was ripped off from an Ash St. address overnight Sept. 4 at the Warden subway station, look- ing the worse for wear. By then, Canadians will be so desperate to solve the crime problem, they'll do anything we want. First, we'll tell them crime can be solved by issuing identity papers ond limiting travel within the country. Citizens will require internal passports. Then we tell them that cameras must be installed, so we can monitor the populace. For their own protection, of course. Then we tell them there is too much money in some peoples honds and not enough in others. We must take all private savings and redistribute it. ' Then we get rid of this damn religion stuff.
