Sunday was also Decoration Day at the Hillman and Kendal Cemeteries, which was well at- tended. The Jones Peddie Picnic was held at the home of Paul and Shirley Baster. They spent the afternoon visiting. Paul and Ab Sauder were in Ottawa recently attending a car race. The Kidd picnic at Uxbridge Sunday was well attended. Elmer lee celebrated his 80th birthday in Port Perry United Church. A number from the area attended including Doug and Beth Wilson and Doug's parents Elmer and Ruth Wilson. Ross and Barb Evans attend- ed St. James West Brock Ceme- tery decoration. Earl and Elizabeth Taylor at- tended decoration service at Erskine Church on Sunday. On June 22, the W.I. will meet at the home of Corrine Croxall. At this meeting, plans for meetings for next year will be made. The McKay family were pleased to have their family home for lunch on Sunday. Mrs. Martha Chissler (one of our new neighbors) visited re- cently with Ruth Ashton. Ruth's daughter Beth Cather- wood of Oshawa visited her for the weekend.
