Taxi Licence Approved A third taxi company in the Township of Scugog has been GRADUATE granted a licence. , Rick Boccaccio, a resident of Caesarea, was granted the li- cence to begin operations imme- diately. Mr. Boccaccio said he intend- ed to operate the service in the Cartwright area, serving pri- marily the residents east of the causeway. This brings to three the num- ber of licenced cab companies in the township. John. Kirk of Ianson Drive converts his garage into a house of horrors, complete with a fly- ing witch, an axe murderer, a bodyless head, and dropping spiders. Eerie sound effects and red lights add to the spooky am- biance. "Halloween is his thing," Mr. Kirk's wife, Debbie, told the Star. "He only used one garage last year, but this year he's used two," Mrs. Kirk said. "I guess next year he'll use the third gar- age." It takes about two weekends to get the spooky scene set up. Because of all the moveable creatures, about three people are needed on Halloween night to operate all the gadgets. How do you know, Mr. Champion spark plugs; i As a student, and young adult, previously living in Cae- sarea, now living just outside, am very offended by the com- ments given in Mabel Cawker's editorial by Albert Putsey. Many times kids are stuck with the blame of wrongful doings. Why is this so? Mr. Putsey says that we should think about what we are doing to our par- ents tax dollars. If he (Mr. Putsey) knows a juvenile has done this why haven't the police been in- - Putsey, that an adult hasn't been doing this sign switching. Some adult figures don't give the best examples to us kids ei- ther. On a last note if you know who it was please have the po- lice deal with such matters, if not stop blaming the kids.
