On Monday, they were guests of the Alumhae for dinner. A special Sven A time of nostalgia for all. Nestleton Presbyterian Church On a beautiful Sunday morn- ing, Rev. Wm. Fairley brought a fitting Mother's Day message. Joyce Taylor played the hymns and Dorothy Lee supervised the Sunday School. The Responsive Reading was Psalm. 127 and 128. Scripture readings were Genesis 29: 9-20 and John 14: 1- 11. We were reminded of the many tragedies and suffering of todays family, e.g. economic conditions, poor health, moral issues, sorrows, etc. Living by faith and by love of Jesus Christ helps to cope with these. How does a family with no Christian beliefs deal with such trage- dies? Our thoughts and prayers are for Irene Brown who is recuper- ating from extensive surgery in Oshawa Hospital. How wonder- ful to have Rita Fairley back with us after recerit back sur- gery.
