It was the first time the local Guides had participated in GOTA (Guides On The Air). The North Shore Amateur Radio Club volunteered its time and radios for the event. Come and go tea held = The weekly euchre was held on Thursday evening with 10 tables. The winners for the eve- ning were Ladies: Verna Slute, Georgena McLaughlin, Alma Manns. On Sunday a "Come and Go" tea to show our appreciation to Michelle Hofman who has been associate minister with the Port Perry, Prince Albert Pastorial charge for the past 18 months. Michelle finished on February 7. She was presented with a church plate from each church enclosed in a wooden frame. Judy Martin who had been church secretary for 8 years was presented a painting. We wish these two special ladies well in the future. The families of Grant and Eva Hunter had a family dinner at the Prince Albert Church on Sunday evening to help them celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
