The league's tournament goes this Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Petites bewitched The Community Nursing Home Petites played host to Ajax late afternoon. Port seemed to be the better team but the spell Ajax cast on our girls was binding. Every time Port put pressure on the visitors our shots seemed to go astray or not makeit through, Other times the skating seemed to be ghost-like. All kinds of energy but not at the time when it would be most pro- ductive. 'I'he ring seemed to have a mind of its own. It didn't want to be on our stick. The passing was either too far in front or intoour skates. A really strange game in which Jennifer Donnelly was the only Port player to find the net. This is a team that the Com- munity Nursing Home Petites can beat. With a little practice and if we can get out from un- der a spell, we will beat this team the next time we meet. Tim Oulette, Derek Ellicott, Kevin Robins, Mathew Howell, Mark Olivero, Cory McQuade. At front are: Shawn Young, Brent Couch, Adam Long, Brandon Davis, Steve Currie and Tom Kittle. Matthew Howell and Kevin Robins qualified to compete at the provincials. Kevin also qualified for the Canadians.
