Congratulations to Donna Van Veghel's choir which has been chosen to sing in "Joseph and his Technicolour Dream Coat" at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto. Epsom members of the choir are: Daniel Lee, Amy, Ste- phen and Patricia Postma, Lindsay and Ross Gower and Joel Van Veghel. Good luck, we know you will do your best. The 4-H banquet was held at Uxbridge Community Centre on Saturday night and many re- ceived awards. Keith, Faye and Vickie called on Ruth Ashton on Sunday. Joe Ryall of Little Britain and Bill Ryall of Fenelon Falls called on their sister Stella Asling and Don on Thursday. Betty and Norman Tapscott had Sunday dinner with Betty's cousins Richard and Mary Mo- ses of Oshawa. Last Sunday Earl and Eliza- beth Taylor went to London to visit their son John and his fam- ily. A new grandson for Ross and Barbara Evans arrived at the home of Eldon and Anita Evans. His name is Justine Bruce. Con- gratulations. Barbara and David Sim- monds also have another grand- daughter, born to daughter Jen- nifer and her husband Philip Wilson. An addition to the Wil- son clan. The U.C.W. members will gather at the health care cen- tre, Uxbridge, 7 p.m., Nov. 3. Nov. 9 - the York Presbyteri- al, King City at 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. The offering to go to aid Tucerr House. Nov. 10 U.C.W. Nov. 11 - Epsom-Utica are ca- tering to Machinery Associa- tion dinner at Utica Hall. Nov. 14 - The Session of Ep- som-Utica are planning a beef dinner at Utica Hall. Nov. 21 - Utica Day Care is holding their annual turkey inner at Utica Hall. Please contact any day care board member for tickets. Nov. 1 - Epsom-Utica Anni- versary Service at Epsom Church with former minister Edith Ann Shauntz as guest speaker. The choir is planning special music. Everyone wel- come. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gourlie and his father Mr. Howard Gourlie and sister Doris Arm- strong attended the 70th wed- ding anniversary in Lindsay on Saturday of Mr. Howard Gour- lie's sister Laura and her hus- band Walter Locke. The "Rake and Run" party was loads of fun. I was sur- prised to find a big orange (leaf bag) pumpkin on my door step. Thanks to the children and their helpers, Pat Sutherland, Epsom-Utica Epsom News by Jean Jeffery Jane Sobil, Dale Slack and Paul Kerry. Hot dogs were good after a morning in the fresh air. In two weeks the children's Sunday School choir will sing with the senior choir. Thank you, Paul. Keith and Faye Ashton had supper with Allan and Joyce Ashton at Oakwood Sunday evening. Joyce's sister Ruby and her husband Harvey Dear- born were also guests. The six of them attended a country mu- sic show at the theatre in Lind- say. Church members remember to bring finger food to church next Sunday so we can enjoy a social hour with our friend Edith Anne after the service.
