George Emmerson worked in the company until his retirement 17 years ago. but still retains an interest in the company and holds the title of vice- president. Following his retire- ment, Mr. Emmerson and his wife Joyce moved to their farm near Sonya, where they lived until 1988, before selling the property and moving to Whitby. Although not active in the day-to-day opera- tions of the business, Mr. Emmerson still drops by occasionally.
