Sympathy is extended to his wife Jennie, son Allan and granddaughters Sharon, Lorrie and Janet and other relatives. The funeral was held Monday from the Wagg Fu- neral Chapel, Port Perry. Last Sunday Andrea and Tra- vis Wright were baptized at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Lif- ford. Those relatives who at- tended the service and the fami- ly gathering after at their home hosted by their parents Diane and Murray Carnaghan were Aenne Vander Heul, Uxbridge, Peter and Anne Vander Heul, Lloyd and Thelma Wright, Les- lie Wright, Toronto, Cheryl and Brian Dedong, Catherine and Sarah, Harold and Melanie Wright, Hailey and Aaron, John and Marion Carnaghan, Luke, David and Mark Carnaghan, Sherri and Doug Metcalfe, Christa, Andrea, Julie and Erin. On Wednesday, June 10, Kathleen and Albert Watts mo- tored to Peterborough accompa- nied by Helen. Jewell of Prince Albert and Kathleen Rankin of Trenton. They also picked up Rh Jeanne McMahon of Bothany. Others attending from this area and Grant Caniphel} was friend. The occasion was the 50th re- union of their graduation from Peterborough Teacher's Col- lege. There was a cruise through the lift-locks and a ban- quet at night followed by speeches and entertainment. Jeanne McMahon rendered a beautiful solo accompanying herself on the piano. She also accompanied Don Sutton, a for- mer superintendent of Durham who played the saxophone. Af- ter the program, plans were made to meet again in 1994. On Wednesday and Thursday evenings the music students of Mrs. Linda Kyte presented two fine recitals for the enjoyment of their parents, grandparents and friends. Two delightful evenings. Her mother was a Cartwright Forder, a sis- ter of the late Bill Forder and Mrs. Garnet Wright. Much en- joyable visiting took place. A large crowd gathered at the Union Cemetery for the annual decoration service on the beau- tiful Sunday afternoon. A fine message was brought by Rev. Dale Davis. Joan Grove with her accordian accompanied the singing of the hymns. Mrs. Jean Boyd of Bowman- ville accompanied Mrs. Flora Samells to the decoration ser- vice and later was a supper guest of Flora. On Sunday, June 21 at 1:30 p.m. the Caesarea Youth Corps will be hosting a meeting for all girls and boys who are 12 years, six months and older for the purpose of forming a Cadet Corps for the old Township of Scugog. Parents are asked to ac- company the young people to this meeting to meet the leaders and to learn about this excellent program.
