Both teams came out skating like fire on ice, the goaltenders Van Camp's Ryan Woods and Port Perry Printing's Shane Fisher covering every inch of their nets. The first period started out with the slick Ian Garnett scooping a pass from Joel Thom- son to score the first goal. With great defensive plays by Ash- leigh Murphy, Joel Thomson, Mike Dalby and Eric Bird they held their end tight till the end of the second period when Port Perry Printing's Matt MacMas- ter sent a nice pass to Ryan Has- lam who put the puck past a sprawling Ryan Woods. Twenty seconds into the third period the determined Mike Dalby connected a pass from Ian Garnett and scored to break the tie for Van Camp.
