CARD OF THANKS T have been very remiss in writing this sooner to thank all those who were concerned in my recent acci- dent. I was overwhelmed with all the attention I was being given by so many friends and organizations with which I had had a small part. I was remembered by so many with flowers, cards, visits and phone calls, The Georgetown and District Seniors Association, Knox Church groups, The Verdun Rebeccah Lodge, my "Tops" Group and many friends. Some special people I will never forget are Eleanor, Peter and Carol Barrow, Alice and Grant. But most of all Michelle and Herb Westerbrook who came so quickly when my grandchildren called. I am very proud of my grandchil- dren Bruce, Tara and Wynn who acted so grown up and capable and my daughter who rushed from Montreal. My thanks also to the nurses of Georgetown hospital for their care and for their concern for three children left alone and who called to check on them. Thank you is such an inadequate word to express my feelings for you all, but it means so much. -Florence Smith PERSONAL Abused and Afraid?
