She opened the Meeting by quoting various slogans. Our theme hymn, purpose and Lord's prayer were repeated. Eleanor Rorabeck's devotional was taken from He- brews 9 Verse 28 and Mathew 28 Verse 7, about the Resur- rection. Jesus died to give us a new life with victory over death and sin. Fourteen members answered Roll Call with limer- icks. Nine sick calls were made. Irene Robb read the Minutes of the previous Meet- ing in the absence of Secretary Maureen. Approved as read. A Thank You was received from Picton Food Bank for our donation and reported that 1222 requests were filled in 2005. A thank you note was read from Bessie Taylor thanking us for our concern. Two members are taking the Food Safety Course and will report back to our U.C.W. (Ladies please note change of place for the Meet- ing) Saturday, April 15th - The 4th Annual Milford Easter Parade will leave the Town Hall at 11:00 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt, Best Basket Contest, Hot Dogs and Re- freshments at the Fair Grounds with Family Bingo back at the Town Hall starting at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 16th - The Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Little Bluff at 5:30 a.m. (Sorry - that's the time the sun rises) A light breakfast will be served at South Bay United Church following this service.
