Irene Robb's devotional was taken from Matthew 22nd, verses 36 to 40, the theme being about love. Eighteen members answered roll call by sending a Valentine Card to a sick or shut in. Twelve sick calls were made. Secretary Maureen Rudd read the January min- utes which were approved. Card Secretary Donna Loney sent three cards for U.C.W. Thank you cards were re- ceived from Madeline Rose and Alan and Carolyn Whitely. Three members are going to represent our group to take the food handling course applying to public func- tions. Lunch menus were decided for after church on the second Sunday of the month and after World Day of Prayer on March 3rd and our Shrove Tuesday pancake supper at Cherry Valley on February 28th. Our collection was received, dedicated and do- nated to the Heart and Stroke Fund. President Sandra closed with prayer after which a delicious lunch was served by Maureen Rudd and Nora Parker.
