The South Marysburgh Mirror MILFORD BOOK CLUB The County of Prince Edward Public Library supports Books Clubs wherever there is sufficient interest. Books are made available through the library's lending system and ~ book discussions take place at branch libraries. Milford Branch now supports two Book Clubs each meet- ing monthly. The evening group founded in 2001 meets on the 3" Thurs. The recently formed afternoon group meets on the 2™ Thurs. until Sept. when it changes to the 2 Tues. The afternoon group has room for new members al- though interest in either group is always welcome. As the evening group evolved August became "poetry month" when members read and discuss various selections. Also, December calls for a lighter or more festive read. Last December members read Oscar Wilde's "The Impor- tance of Being Earnest" and sharing the various entertain- ing roles hammed it up to everyone's enjoyment.
