Trash Bash Challenge!! As this year's Trash Bash Event approaches on Saturday April 23, 2005, the people of South Marysburgh can hold their heads high. Last year, almost all the roads in South Marysburgh were cleaned in the annual roadside litter cleanup. The Trash Bash has steadily grown for the last 12 years with the number of groups and kilometers cleaned increasing every year. Last year, more than half the roads in the County were cleaned, but in South Marysburgh it was about 90% of the roads that were claimed by enthusiastic Trash Bashing groups. The only roads that were not registered for cleaning last year were Gravelly Bay Road, What- tams Road, Petticoat Point Road, Crowe Road, Johnston Road and County Road 10 west of Mil- ford. Every other road in the ward was cleaned. Organizers are encouraging everyone who cleaned a road last year to register on line this year on the Trash Bash Website www .trashbash.ca or by phoning 962-4911. The kits should be ready early in April. This year, let's make South Marysburgh the first ward in the County to be 100% Trash Bashed. Trash Bash Chairman, Keith Taylor is going to be challenging the other wards in the County to do as well as South Marysburgh. So keep up the good work and have fun on Trash Bash Day! SERVICE - Continued from page 7 above all memorable service. One of the many definitions of service that struck me as more than appropriate is -- 'useful labour that does not produce a tangible commodity'. The intangible result of good service is a feeling that you, the customer matter, and regardless of how much or how little you purchase the ser- vice provider really cared about you as an individual and tried their best to help you. Here's a toast to the growth and continuation of good service in The County. -John A. Jackson rd Did you buss, ., Oklahoma! opened at the St. James Theatre on Broadway on March 31. 1843.
