[ was around after Archie and Just got home. tomorrow is election and I suppose there will be a lively time. I think Alcorn will be elected by 63 majority hope I am not disappointed. Wed. 7 We had a very rainy day for election but everything went of very well. And I am glad to say that Alcorn was elected by 73. I went up to Milford took Archie up GLCollier went up with us. Thur. 8 Pa went over to Picton and got 30 brls. Sold the apples to Geo Martin @110pr brl for First and 50cts for Seconds. Fri. 9 George Collier come down to pack our apples. Mr. Spafford come up fetched Mirt up with him. It was very cold all day. Mirt and I went out to League made arangements for the Christmas doyings dicided to have a tea meeting and all the circus take part in it. Then Mr. Foster and I went out on Isaae Colliers got a load of wood for the church. I tell you he is a good man in the woods. It was quite wet under foot. It was quite cold and snowing. Thur. 15 Still it is quite cold and has been blustry all day. Pa and I were fixing up the calf stable making doors. I was up to George Colliers to night and see a number of sleighs out driving.
