Who Comes to the Fair? When we think of all the South Marysburgh "get- togethers", the biggest one of the year is the annual Fall Fair. And the first thing that somebody might say in an- swering the question of "who comes to the Fair?" is "everybody". Well, it's not that big although it may feel like it during the busiest times! Here's a little test to pass the time: sit back for a minute, and try to think of all the different groups who come together to make September 18 such a vibrant statement of what our community is all about. You could start with everyone who comes to have fun, because that's the biggest group. You could dig out your August Mirror and check the article about the Fair. Those ideas are just for starters. Lots of them will be there the Wednes- day before the fair, to move the chairs and tables for dis- plays. Others will be there to set up the fences, and display arrangements, and handle other endless detail. You'll also miss the volunteers who are there the day after the fair, and sometimes more, to clean things up and remove all the lit- ter. They are part of that great crowd of volunteers who help make the day such a good one.
