A Landmark Lost - Continued from page 6 "mansion" and seek out this place; this home of lacticity and delacticty; home of flavour and country produce; home of the best Extra Extra Old Cheddar; a home known simply as The Black River Cheese Factory. Sadly all that remains of it is a concrete pad and a couple of smoke blackened milk tanks. We who claim to be locals pray for a phoenix-like rising from the ashes of The NEW Black River Cheese Factory when we can be sure that our visitors from Toronto will be able to find our home once more and we will be able to enjoy our XXO Cheddar. Written respectfully by an interested neighbour of BRC. . Sincerely, Pastor Ian Robb. ST. PHILIP'S ANGLICAN CHURCH Christmas Services 2001 Service of Christmas | Lessons and Carols " December 23%, 11.00 a.m. Christmas Eve Family Communion December 24%, 9.00 p.m. Christmas Morning Family Worship December 25%, 11.00 a.m. T Community - Continued from page 9 Again, influenced by the memories of those who have lived and served in our community it was decided to provide two black granite stones on which individuals could have engraved the name(s) and date(s) of those they wished to remember (for a fee of course to assist in paying for the project). This memorial is not restricted to members of St. Philip's but in the spirit of community to all who would like to * participate. Valerie and I will have our parents names engraved. They never saw Milford or South Marysburgh but we feel that in some little way it will make them part of this, our community. Why don't you take a drive to the Church and see what has been done to date. If you want more information give me a call at 476-1633. - John A. Jackson
