They are finally taking the plunge by starting this new venture, Lucky Stars Productions. Their first production - The Affections of May' - is about an urban professional couple who move to a rural re- sort area and open a Bed and Breakfast, "to get closer to the poverty line" as one character describes it. This play was written by Norm Foster, a Canadian play- wright with a great talent for comedic dialogue. He has set up quite a few hilarious scenes in this show which are guaranteed to keep audiences laughing! Lucky Stars Productions has also calied upon John McCarthy {who has performed with the Mum- mers and at the Regent) and also Bernie Gaw, Pic- ton's OPP detachment commander, (who has per- formed with Theatrics while he was the Staff Ser- geant at the Bancroft detachment) to join the cast of this comedy . Lucky Stars hopes to provide audiences with a professional quality community theatre experience! They are always looking for people who share their love of theatre to come out and get involved. Anyone who has ever participated in the production of a show will appreciate how many bodies it takes behind the scenes to create the performance that audiences view...the tip of the iceberg, as it were! Please feel free to call Knowlton or Jennifer at 399-2984. They welcome all offers of help and in- volvement. We welcome this wonderful endeavour. 2 Ma J See ERE HHA hi ROYAL LEPAGE OURS HHH ProAlliance Realty DIATE ELL Sed SIEREIEL, SACHIE Elizabeth Crombie Sales Representative (613) 476-0096 24 Hour Pager Fax: {613) 476-7588 £-Mail: glizabeth.crombie@sympatico.ca para a Website: hitp:fiwwvw pec.on.cafecrombie/ I would like to offer you the "royal" treatment for all your real estate needs.
