For the older kids (5-12 years) we have a couple of nifty March break programs that are sure to break the winter "blahs". On Tuesday March 13th at 2:00pm kids can join the "Pollution Patrol" and help save the planet (really!). If that sounds too extreme perhaps your youngster would like to develop a "green thumb" and learn how to become a junior gardener. You will get advice and hands on experience from an expert and even get a plant to take home and put in the garden this spring. How neat is that? Both programs will be held at the Milford Town Hall and are absolutely free. Space is limited to 15 children per program however, so be sure to register at the library after March 1st.
