A Big Thank You, South Marysburgh! This year's Milford Fair was a well-attended suc- cess thanks to the dedication of dozens of volunteers and to the warm support of South Marysburghers in general. Once again, the Fair proved to be an enjoyable social event, a showcase for focal talent, and an outpouring of community spirit. Special thanks and congratulations are due to all the contestants who entered and especially to the Fair Board members whose many hours of labour, un- limited patience and enthusiasm ensured that all the es- sential details were attended to. (The Fair was another reminder of how worth- while was the battle to save Mt. Tabor.) The next Fair Board will be the pot luck dinner on Tuesday October 10th, at the Town Hall. This gather- ing will again recognize the citizenship award winners Norah Bond, Wilma Creasy, Faye Gyde, Alice Miller, Bruce Scott, and Bev Walker. Anyone who helped before or during the Fair is welcome to attend. The annual general meeting of the Fair Board will | be held Tuesday, November 7th, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town § Hall. This meeting will be of unusual importance as the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer are all becoming vacant due to the retirement of § the present executive. Next year's Fair will depend upon p W Pp p these positions being filled. If you are interested in joining the Fair Board, please attend the meeting or call Doug Parker at 476-1543. Thanks again to those who attended and to each of you who helped to make the Fair such a memorable day. - Doug Parker President Taking orders for winter potatoes Alice & Wilbur Miller 476-8350 #| For As Long As You Own ¢| 1955 Cuty Rd 17 - 1 km east of Milford NOW! *Complete x Exhaust Systems *Guaranteed * Your Car {most cars} Also * Shocks X Struts k Catalytic Converters X * Hi-Tech Auto Repair Wheel Alignments X * Complete Automotive Repair Service X Visit Your § Star Custom Exhaust Specialist At: Walker's Garage Phone 476-2837 Prince Edward Plastic Welding "Welding Plastic - Cash Wise and Environmentally Friendly" Prince Edward Plastic Welding can repair almost anything made of plastic.
