Books arrive weekly: new fiction by your favourite authors. If you are not the type to relax and need to keep busy with a project'; try one of our new titles on home and garden improvement. For your summer entertaining pleasures, we have lots of wonderful new cookbooks. Summer Reading Club Programme for Children - Update Our programmes have been well attended. 13 children made flyable kites under the supervision of Trish Daley and 20 children and parents enjoyed Rob's "Creature Feature". Did you see the front page full colour photo of B.J. Logan and mom with "Elvis": in the County News Weekly? Our 2nd Annual County Teddy Bear's Picnic was attended by 86 persons (and a variety of Teddy Bears), who enjoyed a fun filled afternoon of activities and refreshments. And on Aug. 22 Milford's First Teddy Bear's Picnic - Meet Lynette at the Library and parade down to the pond for stories and a beary nice time. Friends of the Ann Farwell Library - The "Friends" Annual GIANT Books Sale was its usual GREAT success, bringing in a grand total of $354.82. Thanks to everyone who organized, hauled books, worked and purchased. A job well done.
