During her years as librarian, Dodie has welcomed many tourists to her area and acted as goodwill ambassador to new-comers who have chosen to live among us. She has initiated the Children's program that takes place on alternate Thursday mornings as Cr well as Christmas parties, magic shows, entertainers, puppeteers to help introduce the very young and not so young to the library use. She chose the newest most popular books for readers' pleasure and if they were not available here, she was helpful in obtaining them through Library Loan.
