If the vote 1s "yes", we will be looking at a very different Canada, or perhaps the disintegration of Canada. If the vote is "no", will Canada become a very different country? To some degree, a yes vote would be far simpler. We could then vent our anger at Quebec by making the negotiations for secession from the country as difficult as possible. We could, through this process, destroy everything this country holds dear as well as our international reputation for fairness and civility. ITS If the answer is "no", then perhaps it is time that we assured Quebecers that we love them, as we do all the other persons of our provinces and territories and that we wish to treat them fairly within the context of our national family.
