He won't be out inthe blazing sun trying to grade those same roads smooth in the summer either. No longer will he be awakened by foiks calling in the wee small hours to ask him to plough a trail for them to get home. Oh it will be glorious to lie in bed and hear the maintainer ge by and not feel he should be out on it. Now Bill isn't too sure about all this. He's going to miss working with the Road Superintendent, Wm. Walker, who he says was the best boss to work for of any he's had. And he's going to miss being a part of the team that keeps the roads in this township in EN (WR e aiso thanked the 3d good shape. council for holding his position open while undergoing a period of recuper- ation from a mild heart attack. In honour of his retirement, which, by the way, was for health reasons, not age, the council and town- ship employees that he worked with these past few years, held a dinner in his honour. He was presented with an handsome, in- scribed pocket watch and fob, to com- memorate his more than twenty years on the job. Reeve Wm.
