These concerts are to both raise awareness of the existence and purpose of the music camp, and to raise monies for its student scholarship fund. The camp provides an "intimate and happy environment in which advanced voung string students "may study and perform string quartets, along with providing supporting choral and orchestral experience." Although the majority of the young people attending the camp are from the United States, recruiting has been carried out vigorously in Canada, with auditions being held in Kingston and Toronto. From these auditions three Canadian students were selected, one of a full scholarship of $1,350, another with partial financial assistance, and the third young person won a $500. scholarship from the Brantford Symphony Orchestra that will help with his tuition. It will be through your support of these concerts, that these financial obligations will be met, as any fund raised in Canada go to assist Canadian stu- An international dents, so don't let these young people down. CHAMBER MUSIC CAMP Realizing that the general public as well as the students on the north shore of Lake Ontario are having hard times, with the economy being what it is, for students aged 11-17 this year's concerts are lower in price than they have been July 31st - August 21st, 1993 in previous years, with a charge of $5.00 and $3.00 for seniors and students. And there will be three concerts. The first two will be at the Picton Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on August 13th, a concert of students performing choral, orchestra and chamber works and August 18th with the faculty performing chamber music. The third and final concert will be at Mount Tabor Playhouse in Milford on August 21st and will be a performance of works the stu- dents have mastered over the period of the camp. These programmes are for the bargain hunter. For low price of $15. or if you are a senior or a student, as little as $9.00, you can enjoy three performances AND help a student, so come to all three,
