Although the majority of the young people attending the camp are from the United States, recruiting has been carried out vigorously in Canada, with auditions being held in Kingston and Toronto. From these auditions three Canadian students were selected, one of a full scholarship of $1,350, another with partial financial assistance, and the third young person won a $500. scholarship from the Brantford Symphony Orchestra that will help with his tuition. And there will be three concerts. The first two will be at the Picton Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on August 13th, a concert of students performing choral, orchestra and chamber works and August 18th with the faculty performing chamber music.
