THE MILFORD FAIR A beautitul day dawned on "the biggest little fair in the County"celebrating, this year, Canada's 125th birthday. The parade was bigger and better than ever and in keeping with the theme, the parade was led by a RCMP officer, in scarlet dress uniform. The flags of Canada, Ontario Province and the County of Prince Edward were duly raised on the new flag pole and the Canadian flag was briefly lowered to halfimast in memory of farmer residents Reverend Peter Wal- $ x & was had by all, there were many more exhibits by township residents than usual, games and races including kite flying a new event this year and vendors had wonderful articies for sale. The crowds were entertained by the Sea Cadet's Band andour oid favorite "Grandpa's Good Tyme Band" and in the evening by a fun concert. This was our Fair and many thanks are due to all the exhibitorsand the hard work- ing fair board, as well as the many silen- theroes who worked quietly in the back- ground. We have one small problem. One sec- tion of the flower prize list was not ap- peared. would anyone whose flowers won a prized in the fair, please contact me, Rita Laramy, at 476-7281. We would like to award the prizes, Hallowe' e
