Les would like to thank all the volunteers who made both events possible. On Levee Day the draw was made for the three early bird members to win free membership for 2024. Angie tells me that the following names were picked: Sue Vallance, Laura Munday and Joan Maloney. Congratulations Ladies !! After a three-year hiatus we are planning a trip to Sunnybrook Veterans Hospital on Sunday February 26th . Look for the list going up on the board and add your name to it if you wish to join us. While other organizations are still struggling to come out of the lockdown, you brought us out of the past two years with flying colours with over 300 members last year; a job well done. All of our program convenors, funding committee and executive are working hard at making your centre an enjoyable experience. That shows with the number of people who are at the centre every day. It is nice to see and meet all of our friends old and new. If there is something you need or would like to try, please let us know. We are working on our second Arts & Craft Show with Silent Auction on March 25th and on Feb. 21st, we are having our second pancake breakfast. If you wish to help out, please let us know. If you have a special talent and would like to show it off we are holding our Acton Has Talent It is also getting to that time again when we hold our Annual General meeting on March 28, 2023. Please join us for the update on how our centre is doing and to vote in the new board and president. As I write this message I see green grass, but as we all know Mother Nature will send us winter again, so stay safe and warm.
