President Marg's opening wisdom - we usually mak¢ a mistake when we make an excuse. Marg's Thought for the Day was a poem about why people go to church. Lots of fodder there to think about. Secretary Marge read the minutes of our March meeting which were impeccable as usual. Our roll call was an annoying habit and ten people told their secrets. (Some claimed they didn't have any but I don't believe it). Some were - biting nails, resentful, don't suffer fools gladly, worry] too much, impatient, interrupting people when they're talk- ing. Treasurer Wilma reported our finances which are fairly healthy thanks to our quilting. We are giving a dona- tion to the 4H for doing our share of the trash bash. Ten people answered roll call with Show & Tell. Some were - Book of Robby Bums' poems, quilt, fossils from Morocco, Train the Brain book, book on housekeeping. ¢ entertained us with a contest and Margaret closed the meeting with three short readings after which she plied us with a delicious lunch, thanked by Marge.
