Sat-Sun June 6 & 7 - Our church members are preparing food for this event again this year. The ladies are meeting at the church hall on Friday, June 5 to prepare baked beans and salad. Please come and help if you can. Thurs, July 9 - UCW are sponsoring a luncheon, quilt and craft sale, and white elephant table from 10am to 3pm at South Bay church hall. Wed, August 12 — Church members will hold a fish fry — we have ordered yellow perch. Wed, Sept 16 — the fall rally will be held at Wellington and South Bay is responsible for the devotional. South Bay hosts it in 2010 and the date of Wed, Sept 29 has been set. Joyce reported that the hospital auxiliary is hav- ing an afternoon tea on Thurs, June 18 to celebrate 75 years on the job. Everyone is welcome to attend. Carolyn Bames brought to our attention that dif- ferent groups would like to landscape a park next to Shire Hall. Our UCW was asked if we'd like to contrib- ute to this. The decision was deferred till we get more information. Our offering was received and dedicated. arolyn Bares has an interesting program by asking everyone — What was the first thing you remem- bered? Some of us had to do some scrambling to bring these memories back. Our meeting closed with our UCW prayer.
